This fish tank stand was custom designed to suit an existing tank. The stand has been designed not only to house the fish tank, but also to be an attractive furniture piece in the home.
Solid Timber Fish Tank Stand The stand is a solid Victorian Ash construction, purpose built to accomodate and conceal the hose and tubing required to run the tank. The design had to be strong enough to sustain the tank, while fitting in with the decor of the client's home. Since the home has existing features incorporating corrugated wall sections, solid timber corrugated doors and panels were crafted for the stand, offering visual flow. The timber has been finished with a 2-pack clear lacquer.
Soft-closing on the doors and lid avoid excess shock and vibration to the tank. The lid and doors of the stand were fitted with a soft-closing system, offering comfort and convenience with its silent and effortless operation. This system also helps to avoid excess shock and vibration to the tank. The door handles have been hand-crafted in Victorian Ash.
